How much furniture do I have to move?
We'll ask you to remove small items such as coffee tables, floor lamps, and bedside tables while we perform a thorough steam clean of your floors. Our team will move larger items like lounge suites as needed.
I have an old stain. Can you remove it?
A lot of the time, yes, we can. Using our steam water extraction methods, we can work the stain until it's gone, whether it's on carpet, mattresses, or a lounge suite.
However, old stains can be tricky, so we cannot 100% guarantee removal. Some liquids can irreversibly damage the carpet, such as those which cause bleaching or dyeing of the fibres. These unfortunately cannot be restored.
How dry will my carpets be after cleaning?
Your carpets will still be slightly damp after a thorough steam clean, similar to the end of a good “spin dry” cycle. Opening doors and windows will encourage air circulation and mats or rugs can be hung on clotheslines to hasten to dry.
How soon can I walk on my carpet after it's been cleaned?
You could walk on it straight away, even though it won't be completely dry. We recommend giving your steam-cleaned carpets a couple of hours to dry before resuming frequent use.
How does Do-It-Yourself carpet cleaning compare to professional services?
Do-it-yourself carpet cleaning definitely has its attractive qualities, the main being that quite often it's cheaper than getting a professional service done.
However, do-it-yourself services mean just that—you're the one putting in the work, and quite often these cleans don't last as long as one done by a professional.
